A set of cast resin wheels for a model of the Soviet heavy wheeled carrier MAZ-543 carrying the Scud B short-range ballistic missile, in 1:35 scale from DEF Model. The wheels have a realistic loaded effect, a bulge of the tire where it meets the road, which on such a heavy vehicle does a great deal to complete the impression of weight. The wheels are intended for the Dragon kit.
The MAZ-543 is a massive Soviet multi-axle chassis that served, among other things, as a self-propelled launcher for the Scud family of missile systems. The massive tires carry a great load, and that is why the bulge effect comes out so well on this type in particular.
Separate the castings from the sprue gates, clean them up and degrease them; use cyanoacrylate for gluing resin. Even the tires out with a matte paint and add dusting with pigments. This is set 2, one of the variants offered for this vehicle.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and serves to complete the matching model.
