Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the light multipurpose aircraft de Havilland Canada Beaver in the British Army version (the Beaver AL.1) in 1:72 scale from Dora Wings. The new short-run tooling is supplemented with photo-etched parts and decals for army machines.
The DHC-2 Beaver is a legendary Canadian single-engined high-wing monoplane famous for its ability to take off and land short (STOL) even from unprepared strips. It was powered by an air-cooled Pratt & Whitney R-985 Wasp Junior radial engine. The rugged bush plane served all over the world as a liaison and transport machine; in the Beaver AL.1 version it was operated by the British Army Air Corps for observation, liaison and light transport.
Clean the short-run injection-molded Dora Wings parts up lightly and dry-fit them before gluing. Glue with liquid cement for plastic and the fine photo-etched parts with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a primer before painting; set the cockpit glazing in with canopy cement and mask the window frames with thin tape. Bring out the panel lines and the surface with a fine wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
