The set contains colored self-adhesive 3D decals for the cabin interior of the light AH-6J/MH-6J Little Bird helicopter in 1:35 scale. They are not photo-etch and not resin – they are raised details printed on flexible film (instrument panels, consoles and controls), which are applied like a decal and replace laborious painting of a cockpit by hand. The set is intended for the matching plastic models of this helicopter.
The AH-6J and MH-6J Little Bird are American light helicopters for special operations derived from the MD 500 type. The AH-6 version serves for light fire support and the MH-6 for fast transport and inserting small units. The glazed cabin with its richly divided interior is a rewarding place to detail.
Slide the parts off the carrier film and stick them onto clean, degreased interior surfaces; the flexible film follows the shapes. Working with tweezers and, if need be, using gentle pressure to settle them is recommended. The interior then gains realistic depth without your having to paint every dial by hand.
The decals are an accessory for a model. The model and the paints are not included in the package.
