An injection-molded plastic kit of the modern European military transport aircraft Airbus A400M Atlas in 1:72 scale from Revell. It is a large model with engraved surface detail and a well-worked flight deck; the box offers an optionally open rear ramp and a detailed cargo bay. Because of the size of the fuselage and the wings, the model is built in larger subassemblies.
The Airbus A400M Atlas is a European tactical and strategic transport aircraft powered by four potent turboprop engines with characteristic counter-rotating propellers. It combines a heavy payload and long range with the ability to operate from short and unpaved strips. It serves to carry troops and equipment and also for humanitarian missions and air-to-air refueling. The high-set wing and the rear cargo ramp are typical of the type.
Use liquid cement for plastic and work in subassemblies; finish and mask the glazed flight deck and the cargo bay before closing the fuselage. On a large model, count on filling and sanding the joints of the long parts. Apply a primer before painting and apply the colors with an airbrush; large gray surfaces match better when sprayed. You can show the rear ramp open.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
