Revell 1:72 Messerschmitt P.1099 (P-Series) is an injection-molded plastic kit of the projected German jet heavy fighter from the end of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale capturing the projected German jet heavy fighter Messerschmitt P.1099 from the so-called Luft 46 family. The model is based on a concept following on from the Me 262 and is released in the P-Series edition. The parts have finely engraved panel lines and a detailed cockpit and wheel bays.
The Messerschmitt P.1099 project was created in 1943 as a development of the Me 262 jet fighter. It called for a reworked, bulkier fuselage, a crew of two and heavy gun armament. The machine stayed on paper and never flew, so it belongs to the category of so-called paper projects, which are very popular with collectors.
Thin cement for plastic, a primer and airbrushing are the way to go. Since this is a project that was never realized, the model leaves a free hand in choosing a late-war German camouflage. The panel lines come out after a fine wash and a matte overcoat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
