This resin scenic set from the Italian maker Royal Model brings faithfully rendered red (fired) bricks in 1:72 scale for building dioramas. It is not a kit of a vehicle nor of a building as a whole, but additional material for creating walls, ruins, piles of building material and urban scenes.
The castings capture the texture and proportions of bricks to suit the small 1:72 scale. The parts can be used whole and as individual pieces alike, to suggest rubble, damaged structures or dumps on a battlefield.
Wash the parts clean of mold release agent and cut off the casting blocks. The brick look comes out well after spraying a base color and a brick-red tone, followed by bringing the joints out with a dark wash and dust pigments.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package.
