This starter set from Revell contains an injection molded plastic kit of the legendary German Fokker Dr.I fighter triplane in 1:72 scale along with everything needed for a first build. Besides the parts of the model, the package also holds a basic set of paints, a brush and glue, so the set is ideal for beginners and for children from about ten years old.
The Fokker Dr.I was a German fighter triplane of the First World War. It became famous as the machine flown by Manfred von Richthofen, known as the Red Baron. The characteristic set of three wings gave the aircraft excellent agility and rate of climb in air combat.
Glue the parts with the supplied glue and let the joints dry thoroughly. A triplane has prominent struts and bracing, so work patiently and in stages. Stir the paints thoroughly and apply the decals to a smooth varnished surface.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The basic paints, the brush and the glue are part of the package in this starter set.
