An injection-molded plastic kit of the multi-role Sea King helicopter in 1:72 scale by Revell in the Model Set version. Besides the plastic parts the package also holds basic Aqua paints, glue and a brush. The model offers a detailed cockpit and interior, a movable main and tail rotor, fine panel lines and optional parts.
The Sea King Mk.41 served for decades as the main search and rescue helicopter of the German Navy. The model marks its retirement from German service and also recalls the continuation of its career with the Ukrainian Navy. The subject is a rugged machine of Sikorsky origin, built under license by Westland.
Glue the parts with the enclosed plastic cement and mask the cockpit glazing before spraying. A primer coat and spraying with an airbrush are recommended; the enclosed paints will serve for the basic finish and beginners will manage the model with a brush as well. The package holds decals for the German and the Ukrainian machines.
