A super glue from Bison based on cyanoacrylate, supplied in a blister weighing 3 g. It is modeling chemistry, not a kit. Bison is an ordinary household and workshop brand, but in modeling it does exactly what classic cement for plastic cannot: cyanoacrylate bonds resin, metal, brass photo-etched parts and parts from a 3D print. Liquid cement for polystyrene does not attack these materials, and so it does not hold on them and the joint falls apart. Cyanoacrylate, by contrast, creates a strong joint by curing chemically and works between different materials too (a photo-etched part on plastic, for instance).
For any modeler who builds from resin, metal, photo-etched parts or 3D prints, or who adds parts of other materials to a plastic kit. The small 3 g size has the advantage that it gets used up before the glue in an opened package ages. It also suits small repairs around the house.
Safety — read carefully. Cyanoacrylate bonds skin, fingers and eyelids instantly; never pull bonded fingers apart by force. The vapors irritate the eyes, mucous membranes and airways. Work in a well-ventilated room, protect your eyes and avoid contact with the skin; gloves are advisable. Do not glue above clear parts. Keep in a tightly closed package, out of the reach of children. If it gets in the eyes, rinse immediately with water and seek medical help.
