The F-105 Thunderchief was an American heavy fighter-bomber of the 1950s, built above all for a fast run low over the terrain with a bomb load. It differed from the fighters of the time in its massive fuselage with an internal bomb bay and the swept air intakes in the wing roots. It is best known from the war in Vietnam, where it flew a large share of the strike missions. In 1:32 scale a model of such an aircraft comes out an impressive size, and every accessory shows plainly on it.
This is an accessory for an F-105 aircraft model in 1:32 scale. The extent of the delivery, the number of parts and which kit the set is cut for are given on the packaging and in the manufacturer's instructions. Before buying, therefore, compare the instructions with the kit you have so that the parts sit without major modifications.
The parts are not polystyrene, so ordinary modeling cement for plastic has no effect on them. Hold the joints with super glue and secure larger assemblies mechanically as well, for example with a wire pin. Cut off excess material with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder carefully so that the blade does not run into the detail. Wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water before painting and let them dry thoroughly; paint does not hold on a greasy surface. A thin coat of primer proves itself and shows up sanding marks at the same time.
The aircraft kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
