This is a finished collector's model, not a kit. It comes completely assembled, painted and printed, so nothing is glued or painted. The body and chassis are of metal alloy, the wheels have rubber tires and the hood opens to reveal the engine bay. The model is supplied sealed in a collector's box and is intended for a display case.
The Toyota Sprinter Trueno AE86 is the last generation of the compact Corolla with rear-wheel drive, built in the 1980s. It is powered by the 4A-GE inline four-cylinder engine with four valves per cylinder and a high rev range, and the Trueno version is told from its sister Levin by its pop-up headlights. Low weight, a balanced chassis and availability made the AE86 an icon of the Japanese racing and drifting scene, which keeps its cult reputation to this day.
Kaido House is the brand of the designer Jun Imai, which carries the style of Japanese street specials into 1:64 scale. The Kaido Street V1 version is conceived as a civilian conversion: a light body, lowered suspension, widened fenders, deep-dish wheels and supporting aerodynamics. The printing and the small details are executed so that the model holds up even when looked at closely and forms a coherent collection on a shelf alongside the other pieces of the line.
This is a finished collector's model, not a kit. It is not intended as a toy for small children.
