The smaller scale and a manageable number of parts make the model a suitable choice for a quicker build and for beginning modelers. The package contains injection-molded plastic parts and decals for depicting the machine, including the characteristic armament under the stub wings.
The AH-64 Apache is an American two-seat attack helicopter designed for destroying armored vehicles and supporting ground forces. The AH-64A version was the first production variant. The machine carries a gun under the nose, unguided rockets and anti-tank guided missiles, and it is marked out by a rugged structure and advanced sensors for fighting by day and by night alike.
Glue the parts with liquid modeling cement for plastic. Apply a primer before painting; the typical finish is a flat dark camouflage, which an airbrush or a brush will handle well. Paint the cockpit and the rotor head before closing them up. Fine weathering layers and drybrushing bring out the panels and the edges. Apply the decals over a gloss surface and seal them with a matte varnish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
