A plastic kit of the cult Volkswagen T2 camper van in 1:24 scale from Revell. The set uses an easy-assembly system in which color-separated, precisely made parts fit into one another and hold firmly without any need for glue. The model captures the camper version with a fitted-out interior and also offers practical details such as the sliding side door and an optionally raised or folded roof.
The second-generation Volkswagen Type 2, known as the T2, followed on from the famous Bulli and became a symbol of travel and freedom. The camper version offered sleeping places, cupboards and a kitchenette, thanks to which the vehicle remains highly popular among fans of classic vans and campers to this day.
Even though the parts are molded in color and click together, the result is raised by spraying the body over a primer, cleaning up the joints and refining the paintwork. Fit the glazed parts at the end and settle the decals onto a smooth base. Selected parts can be glued in spots for firmer joints.
The model is supplied unassembled. Paints, glue and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
