This is a resin set of landing gear wheels for the McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle heavy fighter in the A and B versions in 1:72 scale from the manufacturer Reskit. It is not a model of the aircraft but a detail accessory that replaces the wheels from the kit with more accurate castings carrying fine relief on the tire and the hub alike.
The castings capture the tread and the sidewalls of the tires as well as the layout of the wheel hubs. The wheels look slightly under load, so a model standing on its gear looks more faithful than with the smooth plastic parts from the box. The set is intended for ordinary plastic F-15 kits in the A and B versions in this scale.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand the mating faces. Bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate), not with cement for plastic. Protect your airways when sanding resin, and apply a primer before painting.
This is an accessory set, not a model of an aircraft. It is supplied unpainted; glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
