Black-green RLM 70, an acrylic paint from the Real Colors range in a 17 ml package. The dark shade of the upper surfaces of early German aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
RLM 70 is a very dark green that at first glance looks almost black. It belongs to the pair of greens of the early German scheme: together with RLM 71 it formed the splinter pattern on the upper surfaces, while the underside stayed light blue. It is precisely the contrast between the two greens that gives a model the right look, which is why they are usually bought together.
On the upper surfaces of the wings, fuselage and tail of early-period machines, and on a number of types also on the propeller blades. The dark shade also serves for shading deep recesses and for touching up edges sanded during the build. Always follow the drawing supplied with the kit for the exact course of the pattern on the upper surfaces.
The paint is supplied in a volume of 17 ml. Do not pour leftovers from the palette back into the bottle, so that no dirt gets into it. Thinner, primer, varnish and tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging for thinning, tool cleaning and storage. Work in a well ventilated room and keep the bottle carefully closed and out of reach of children.
