The Eduard 1:350 Prinz Eugen photo-etched set is a brass detail accessory for a model of the German heavy cruiser Prinz Eugen. It is photo-etched parts, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This photo-etched set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard serves to refine a 1:350 plastic model of the German heavy cruiser Prinz Eugen. It is not a model or a kit: it is a set of brass photo-etched parts with which you replace the coarse plastic elements with more faithful metal ones: railings, radars, cranes, ladders, platforms and other fine details of the superstructure and the deck.
The Prinz Eugen was a German heavy cruiser of the Admiral Hipper class. It became best known for escorting the battleship Bismarck on its sortie into the Atlantic in 1941. It was one of the few large German surface ships to survive the war and was known for its elegant silhouette and strong anti-aircraft armament.
Separate the brass parts with a sharp knife and make the bends along the etched grooves using a bending tool. Use super glue to bond metal to plastic. Railings and fine parts are best painted once glued on. Work from the large surfaces to the small details and work under a magnifier.
The accessory is supplied as a set of photo-etched parts, unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
