The light blue-gray RLM 76 in its late war form, an acrylic paint of the Real Colors range in a 17 ml bottle. The shade of the lower surfaces of German aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
The light blue-gray RLM 76 covered the lower surfaces and the sides of the fuselage of later German aircraft. Toward the end of the war the shade diverged in practice into several forms, which is why the Real Colors range offers more than one bottle for it. This one is designated as the late war variation, that is, the form a builder reaches for on machines from the last period of the war. How exactly it differs from the other variations is best compared in the manufacturer's color reference fan.
On the undersides of the wings, the fuselage and the tail surfaces and on the sides of the fuselage, where it forms the base under patches applied in darker shades. On late machines the coverage of the base color tends to be more careless than before, so it pays to let the surface underneath show through here and there and not to make the area perfectly smooth. Always base the extent and the exact course on documentation for the particular machine.
The paint is supplied in a volume of 17 ml. Do not pour what is left in a dish back into the bottle, so that no dirt gets into it. Thinner, primer, clear coat and tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise. For thinning, cleaning the tools and storage follow the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging. Work in a well-ventilated room and keep the bottle carefully closed and out of the reach of children.
