A color photo-etched instrument panel for the cockpit of the British de Havilland Mosquito multipurpose aircraft in 1:72 scale from Yahu Models. It is not an aircraft model but a finished, pre-printed and painted accessory for a cockpit. The set is designed for the plastic Mosquito models from Tamiya and Hasegawa and replaces their plastic instrument panel with a more detailed color panel.

The real subject

The de Havilland Mosquito was a British twin-engine aircraft of largely wooden construction, nicknamed the Wooden Wonder. It was powered by a pair of Rolls-Royce Merlin V12 engines and, thanks to its high speed, served as a fast bomber, a night fighter and an attack and reconnaissance aircraft. It was one of the most versatile aircraft of the Second World War and was used on a number of fronts.
