Injection-molded plastic kit of the Volkswagen T1 van in the advertising finish of the food company Dr. Oetker in 1:24 scale from Revell. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted, with authentic decals that make a faithful replica of the period advertising vehicle possible. The box includes multilingual illustrated instructions; it is a detailed model for more experienced modelers. The result is a classic example of the friendly face of the Bulli in an advertising finish.
T1 advertising vans of the Dr. Oetker brand crossed the whole of Germany in the 1950s and 1960s. At many events, trained staff offered household advice and demonstrated the brand's products. The vehicle is thus linked with the postwar era of consumer optimism and with the history of one of the iconic brands.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and paint the body with an airbrush in thin coats. Finish the colorful advertising scheme with the decals over a gloss coat and go over them with a protective coat. Fit the chrome and the glazing only at the end.
