An injection-molded plastic kit of the Airbus A-321neo narrow-body airliner in the popular collector scale of 1:144 from Zvezda. The model captures the longest member of the modernized A320neo family with its new engines and the characteristic curved wingtips (sharklets). The longer fuselage gives the finished model striking proportions and in 1:144 it lines up well with other civil aircraft.
The Airbus A321neo is the largest variant of the narrow-body A320neo family. The neo designation (new engine option) refers to the new generation of more fuel-efficient engines, which together with aerodynamic changes to the wing reduced consumption and extended the range. The aircraft is the backbone of short and medium routes with a number of airlines around the world.
With airliners a smooth, clean surface is the key: sand the fuselage seams carefully and fill them where needed. Spray white and light base coats with an airbrush in thin, even layers over a primer. Mask the glazing and the windows. Apply the extensive livery decals onto a gloss coat with a decal softener, so that they settle without silvering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
