An injection-molded plastic kit of the Italian racing supercar Lamborghini Diablo GTR in 1:24 scale from Aoshima. It is the track version of the legendary Diablo, with openable doors and hoods, crisply rendered parts and a prominent aerodynamic package. The model captures the aggressive look of a racing special of the late 1990s.
The Lamborghini Diablo GTR was the track variant of the Diablo intended for a one-make series. Compared with the road version it received a lightened body, a massive rear wing, a racing interior with a roll cage and a potent V12. The Diablo is among the iconic supercars of its era, with its scissor doors and the wedge-shaped body that became a symbol of the marque.
Use liquid cement for plastic and work in subassemblies. Finish the interior with its roll cage before closing up the body. Apply a primer before painting and apply the colors with an airbrush; a gloss clear coat and polishing will finish the deep body color. Fit the openable doors and hoods carefully to the finished body, and apply the decals over a gloss base.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
