An injection-molded plastic model of the elegant Czechoslovak twin-engine aircraft Aero Ae-45 in 1:72 scale from the Czech brand Kovozavody Prostejov. It is a new mold that captures the characteristic rounded shapes and the glazed cabin. The set contains clear parts and a decal sheet with several marking options, including machines connected with well known long-distance flights.
The Aero Ae-45 was an all-metal twin-engine aircraft developed in postwar Czechoslovakia for carrying passengers, for liaison work and for sport flying. It was known for its reliability and pleasant flying qualities and found users abroad as well. Machines of this type completed a number of prestigious long-distance flights and are among the gems of postwar Czech aircraft design.
Glue the parts with liquid modeling cement for plastic; this is a smaller model with finer parts, so work carefully. Mask the cabin glazing before painting and paint the interior before closing up the fuselage. Apply a primer before painting; the smooth metal surfaces of the airframe benefit from an even coat with an airbrush and light shading.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
