Pin-up series, figure No. 5 in 1:24 scale is a genre plastic figure of a girl in an aviation spirit in the style of period pin-up posters, for completing car models and dioramas.
Responsibility details are not available.
This genre plastic figure in 1:24 scale belongs to the popular pin-up series and captures a girl in an aviation spirit in the style of the period posters of the 1940s. It is supplied unpainted and unassembled. 1:24 scale matches the usual car models, so the figure brings a garage scene, a diorama and a collector's display case to life.
The pin-up series came about as an answer to the shortage of human figures in 1:24 scale, where models of vehicles abound but figures are few. Every figure has a name and a character of its own in the spirit of retro aesthetics. This figure is the fifth part of the series and carries an aviation motif, including period headgear.
Carefully separate the parts and clean up the fine parting lines. Glue the small figure with a thin model cement. Build up the skin tones in layers and finish the clothing and the accessories with gloss or matte varnishes. The aviation items of gear come out best when the color areas are carefully separated and the detail is picked out.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
