76 Light grey USAF

Revell Email Color 76 Light Grey (USAF)

This is a synthetic enamel (solvent-based) modeling paint in a light gray shade with a matte surface. It comes in a metal tin of 14 ml. The paint covers well, holds on plastic and metal and forms a firm, durable film. It is thinned exclusively with Revell Color Mix or an enamel thinner, and never with water.

Use

• It is applied with a brush as well as an airbrush; before spraying, thin the paint with enamel thinner.
• The light gray suits the lower surfaces and camouflage of modern jets.
• A further coat or decals can usually be applied after 4 to 6 hours, and full cure comes after about 24 hours.
• The shades of the same range can be mixed and toned with one another.

Who it is for

For modelers who build aircraft and vehicles and prefer durable enamel paints with a matte result. Suitable for brush as well as airbrush.

A solvent-based enamel paint. It is flammable, so work in a well-ventilated area and away from open flame. Do not apply a lacquer (nitro) clear over enamel, as it could attack it.
