It is neither a kit nor a part of a model — it is a printed surface on which you stand a finished model for display in a case or for photography. The dimensions, the material and the form of packaging are stated on the box of the base.
The base looks best mounted on a flat board — cardboard, plywood or a sheet of rigid foam; otherwise the edges curl. Double-sided tape or glue applied in a thin layer over the whole area suits for fixing it, so that no bubbles form. Cover the transition between the base and its surroundings with a frame or a strip. Do not leave the color print in direct sunlight for long periods, so that it does not fade, and protect it from damp. You can heighten the effect with small vegetation, figures or ground equipment in matching scale.
For modelers who build in 1:144 scale and want to put finished models into a setting quickly and with little work, without taking on the building of a diorama. It also suits photographing models and unifying the look of a whole display case.
The base is supplied on its own. The model, figures and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
