An injection-molded plastic kit of the modern British tactical support vehicle Husky TSV (Tactical Support Vehicle) in 1:35 scale from Meng. The kit has more than three hundred parts, contains photo-etched parts and offers a precisely rendered interior of the crew cab. The doors can be built open or closed, the roof weapon station traverses and the front wheels steer.
The Husky TSV is a modern British wheeled support and protection vehicle derived from the heavy pickups of the American firm Navistar. The design puts the emphasis on protecting the crew against mines and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and on good cross-country mobility; the vehicle can be carried by a C-130 aircraft. It was used, among other places, by the British army in Afghanistan, where it served for support and logistics in threatened areas.
First assemble and paint the cab interior and only then close it up, otherwise the detail is lost. Glue the plastic parts with liquid cement for plastic and the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply a primer and spray with an airbrush; sand and khaki shades suit modern British vehicles. Washes in the recesses and pigments for dust and mud effects on the chassis, the wheels and the lower body will add realism.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
