Coastal Kits HMS Illustrious aircraft carrier deck, section 2 in 1:144 scale. A printed display base under a finished model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A printed display base of the British brand Coastal Kits in 1:144 scale. It is not a model but a finished display base capturing a matching part of the flight deck of the British aircraft carrier HMS Illustrious. A model looks on it as though it stood directly on the deck, and that without painting or making terrain.
The flight deck of HMS Illustrious served for operating airplanes and was covered with characteristic markings, stripes and a non-skid coat. Section 2 matches the neighboring parts and together they form a longer stretch of deck.
Lay the base on a flat surface and stand a finished model on it. The surface is matte, durable and waterproof, suitable for photographing without distracting reflections too. It requires no glue, paints or scatter material and can be joined with the other sections.
