Flexible Sanding Sheet from Moritz Hobby is a flexible abrasive sheet for finishing plastic and resin parts that follows the shape of the surface being sanded.

This is a modeling abrasive aid, not a kit. The abrasive layer is laid on a flexible backing, so the sheet stays pliable and follows the shape of the part while sanding. Unlike rigid abrasive paper it can be pressed into a curve with a finger, wrapped around a tubular part or, the other way round, backed with a flat plate and used like a classic sanding block. It suits anywhere a surface has to be sanded without harming the engraving and detail around it.
Sand with light pressure and in short strokes, so that the material does not overheat and the surface does not ripple. The sheet can be cut into smaller pieces and used in tight spots, which saves material. Check the surface against the light as you go: a matte finish shows where the part is already level and where a dip remains. After sanding it is a good idea to wash the part and let it dry thoroughly, so that dust does not stay under the paint.
For modelers of all levels who build plastic and resin models and want an abrasive in the workshop that works on shaped surfaces. Figure painters and diorama builders will appreciate it too, as they often sand small and irregular parts.
Do not breathe the sanding dust, work in a well-ventilated room and wash your hands after sanding. Paints, fillers and tools are not included in the package.
