A modeling accessory whose real subject is the American 0.30 inch caliber Browning machine gun, that is, 7.62 mm.
Responsibility details are not available.
The 0.30 inch caliber Browning, 7.62 mm in metric measure, was among the most widespread American armament of the Second World War. It appeared on vehicles, on ship decks and as the armament of aircraft, and you recognize it by its slender barrel with a perforated shroud. On a model it is a small thing that nevertheless draws the eye: the weapon usually sits in a raised position and the viewer has it in the line of sight.
This is an accessory to a model, not a stand-alone model. It replaces the part from the kit where its shape does not match or where it is thicker than it should be at the given reduction. The contents of the package, the dimensions and the recommended fitting procedure are given in the data supplied by the manufacturer.
Degrease the surfaces before gluing and dry-fit the part in place; choose the type of glue according to the material of the part, because polystyrene cement holds only on plastic. Fit the weapon only after the surroundings have been painted, otherwise the difference between it and the surface of the vehicle will be lost while spraying. A dark steel shade suits the painting, not a light silver, which the eye reads as a toy; the edges and the moving parts are then lightly brought out with a dry brush.
The package holds only this accessory. The model, the paints and the glue are not included, unless stated otherwise. Because the same weapon is offered in several scales, compare the size of the part with the model you are building before ordering.
