A fine round brush with synthetic hair in size 00. It is one of the smallest sizes and is therefore intended for the most precise detail work on plastic models, figures and modeling accessories. The synthetic hair is resistant to solvents, holds a springy, well tapered point and cleans easily, so it handles acrylic paints as well as solvent-based enamels without trouble. Unlike natural hair it is not fussy about the type of paint and with sensible care it lasts a long time. With details the brush is in fact often more important than the paint itself, because it decides the precision of the stroke.
Suitable for modelers who need a dependable tool for fine details, and for beginners, for whom it serves as a universal detail brush to start with. The small diameter of the hair calls for a steady hand and suits precise short strokes rather than covering larger areas, for which a wider flat brush is better. Thin the paint slightly before work so it does not form lumps and flows from the point smoothly.
After use clean the brush immediately with a cleaner suited to the type of paint and let it dry point up so it keeps its shape. Paints and thinners are not included in the package.
