A small resin kit of the Pz.Kpfw.38(t) Ausf.G light tank in the railroad scale 1:120 (TT) from the Czech maker Hauler. The finely cast kit in resin, as a rule supplemented with photo-etched parts, is intended for more experienced modelers. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted; for the exact contents of the package, follow the enclosed instructions.
The subject is a light tank developed in the 1930s in Czechoslovakia (as the LT vz. 38), which after the occupation of the country was taken over by the Wehrmacht and committed on a large scale under the designation Pz.Kpfw.38(t). The Ausf.G version was among the later production renderings. The vehicle became famous for its reliable chassis and a good balance of performance; its design became the basis for a whole range of other vehicles, for example tank destroyers and self-propelled guns. The armament consisted of a gun of 37 mm caliber supplemented with machine guns.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut the casting blocks off and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate); protect your airways while sanding. Finish the running gear and any interior before you close the hull up. Spray over a primer and create the patina with thin washes and fine pigments for mud effects; in a small scale, work sparingly.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
