Peewit 1:144 mask Brewster F2A and Buffalo Mk.I is a set of precise self-adhesive masks in 1:144 scale for masking the canopy glazing of a model of the Brewster Buffalo fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of die-cut self-adhesive Peewit masks in 1:144 scale for models of the American single-seat Brewster carrier-based fighter (the F2A, Buffalo Mk.I in British service). The masks follow the framing of the canopy glazing exactly and make it easier to achieve sharp color transitions.
The Brewster Buffalo was an American single-seat carrier-based fighter with a radial engine from the beginning of the Second World War. In the F2A version it served with the US Navy, and as the Buffalo Mk.I it was used by the Royal Air Force and by other countries as well. Finnish pilots achieved particularly good results with it.
Stick the masks onto the clean and degreased glazing of the model and press the edges down carefully so that the paint does not run underneath. Then spray the framing in the airframe color and, once it has dried, lift the masks off carefully. Thanks to the die-cut shape the laborious cutting of tape with a knife is avoided, which makes the work considerably easier in a small scale.
This is an accessory for a plastic kit, not a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
