A set of masking templates for a model of the La-5F in 1:144 scale from Pmask. The self-adhesive die-cut masks speed up masking the cockpit glazing before spraying.

A set of self-adhesive die-cut masks for a model of the Soviet Lavochkin La-5F fighter in 1:144 scale. It is neither a kit nor an accessory part, but a set of templates that cover the areas meant to stay free of paint during spraying, above all the cockpit glazing. The masks are cut exactly to the shape of the parts of one particular kit of this version in this scale, so measuring and test fitting fall away.
The La-5F was a Soviet single-seat fighter of the Second World War, powered by an air-cooled radial engine. It grew out of an earlier type with an inline engine, and its strengths were good maneuverability and performance at low and medium altitudes. Among other things, the F version differs from the earlier aircraft in a modified canopy with a better view to the rear, which shows clearly both on the model and on the masks.
For modelers who build aircraft in 1:144 scale and do not want to lose time preparing masking tape by hand. On models this small, cutting out cockpit frames with a knife is practically impossible, so ready-made templates decide whether the glazing will look clean.
The package contains masks only. The model, paints and glue are not included.
