Photo-etched seats for German aircraft in 1:144 scale are an accessory set for a kit you have already bought, not a model in its own right.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of photo-etched parts from the Czech maker Brengun meant for detailing the cabins of German aircraft in 1:144 scale. It is not a kit of an aircraft; the set serves to improve a model the modeler already owns, and by itself it creates no aircraft.
In 1:144 scale a cabin is small but far from invisible. Injection-molded seats in this size tend to be either heavily simplified or missing from the package altogether, because a mold simply will not hold a fine shape. Photo-etched sheet has a thickness in tenths of a millimeter, so the shell of a seat looks like a shell and not like a block. Under the glazing the difference tells mainly in the outline of the backrest and in the gap between the cushion and the floor, which a plastic part never has.
Never break the parts out. Lay the sheet on a hard smooth surface and cut the fret tabs through with a sharp blade, and level the remainder with a fine file. Make the bends in a bender or between two blades, always along the marked line and in one movement; repeated bending will crack the material. It is glued with super glue applied with a pin in an amount that is barely visible, because a surplus creeps into the detail and dulls it. Before painting, degrease the sheet and use a primer, or the paint will chip off while the model is handled. Seats are more easily painted on the sheet or straight after being cut out, before they disappear into the cabin.
The set is an aftermarket accessory. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
