Aber 1:16 final muzzle brake for the 7.5 cm barrel of the PzKpfw. IV, Ausf. H and J is a turned metal accessory that faithfully imitates the final type of muzzle brake of the long gun of the German PzKpfw. IV tank in its late versions.
Responsibility details are not available.
This accessory in 1:16 scale from the maker Aber is not a model in itself but a turned metal muzzle brake of the final type intended for the 7.5 cm gun (KwK 40 L/48) of the PzKpfw. IV tank in the late versions Ausf. H and J. It replaces a part of the base kit and gives the barrel sharp, accurate shapes.
The PzKpfw. IV was the most widely used German medium tank of the Second World War. The late versions Ausf. H and J carried the long gun of 75 mm caliber with the characteristic two-chamber muzzle brake of the final type, which reduced the recoil and the dispersion when firing.
Clean any machining residue off the part and fit it onto the barrel as the kit instructions direct. Metal holds paint well once a primer has been laid down; a dark wash will show in the recesses and light drybrushing will bring out the edges.
This is a turned metal detail accessory, not a model in itself. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
