A turned metal gun barrel from RB model, a replacement of the plastic part on a finished model. It is a detail accessory, not a model of the vehicle. The metal workmanship brings a perfectly circular cross section, a sharp muzzle and a faithfully rendered recoil cylinder.
The 7.5 cm KwK 40 L/43 gun became the main armament of the German Panzer IV medium tank in the Ausf. F2 version from 1942. The long gun barrel with its high muzzle velocity was a direct answer to the Soviet T-34 and KV tanks and markedly raised the firepower of the vehicle.
Clean the metal part, degrease it and glue it with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply a metal primer before the paint so that the shade and the weathering hold reliably. Metal takes fine adjustment without any risk of squeezing the muzzle.
It is supplied as a separate detailed metal part. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package.
