A turned metal gun barrel from RB model as a replacement of the plastic part on a finished model. It is not a model of the vehicle, but a detail accessory. The metal workmanship ensures a perfectly circular cross section and a sharp muzzle of the gun.
The Soviet 85mm D-5T tank gun armed the KV-85 and IS-1 heavy tanks of 1943 to 1944. It introduced the more powerful 85 mm caliber into Soviet heavy tanks and became the forerunner of the later guns of this class, which fundamentally raised the anti-armor power of the Red Army.
Clean the burrs off the metal part, degrease it and glue it with cyanoacrylate glue. For reliable painting apply a metal primer and only then the shade and the weathering. Metal holds the precise shape of the muzzle.
It is supplied as a separate detailed metal part. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package.
