A brass photo-etched detail set 1:32 AEG G.IV – bomb bay for a faithful treatment of the bomb bay of the large German bomber of the First World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of fine brass photo-etched parts intended to refine the bomb bay, that is the bomb compartment of the twin-engined bomber AEG G.IV in 1:32 scale. It is not an airplane model but an accessory to a plastic kit – it adds the thin structures and details that cannot be cast in injection molded plastic.
The AEG G.IV was a German twin-engined biplane bomber of the period of the First World War. It was powered by a pair of Mercedes inline engines and served above all for tactical and night bombing on the Western as well as the southeastern front. The bomb load was carried mainly outside the fuselage and in the space between the engine nacelles.
Separate the parts carefully from the fret with a sharp knife and form the bends over a metal ruler or in a photo-etch bending tool. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) or with two-part epoxy. Degrease the brass before painting and use a metal primer.
This is a detail accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
