A set of transparent decals imitating wood grain in 1:32 scale from the Czech maker HGW, prepared directly to the shape of the wooden fuselage of the Albatros D.V and D.Va fighter biplane. The decals are transparent, so they go on over a colored base and the shade of that base governs the final tone of the wood. That way you get a faithful imitation of the bent plywood fuselage without laborious hand painting.

Use

• Smooth the fuselage, fill it and lay a white base down that can be polished before application.
• Choose the shade of the base according to the tone of wood you want; panels can be differentiated with various shades.
• Apply the decals as usual, with a decal softener and a setting solution.
• Trim the overhangs with a very sharp blade once dry.
