A decal sheet in 1:32 scale from the Czech brand AML. It is not a kit but an accessory: a set of decals complemented by masking films and color drawings of the finishes. The sheet is devoted to the aircraft connected with the name of Alois Vasatko, the first commander of the Czechoslovak fighter wing of the RAF, and it is marked as the first part of a themed series.
The package holds decals for two versions: the Curtiss Hawk 75A-2 fighter and the Hawker Hurricane Mk.IIb. Masking films and sheets with color drawings come with the decals, and they show how the camouflage is applied and the markings laid out. The marking part I means that this is the first part of a themed series. The decal artwork is prepared for the large 1:32 scale, where even the small lettering comes out well.
Decals belong on a smooth gloss clear coat, otherwise a white veil will be left under them. Cut them out as close to the design as possible, dip them in water only briefly and slide them off the backing with a brush rather than with your fingers. On more complicated shapes, for example at leading and trailing edges or across the transitions between panels, a decal softener helps. Once dry, go over the surface with a matte or satin varnish, which blends the edge of the decal with its surroundings. Stick the masking films onto perfectly clean glazing and press the edges down with a toothpick so that no paint seeps under them; take them off only after the last coat has dried.
This is a decal sheet, not a kit. The aircraft model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
