Responsibility details are not available.
A decal sheet from the British manufacturer Kits-World in 1:32 scale with the markings of a Lancaster carrying the painting Lonesome Lola on the fuselage. It is not a kit but a standalone set of markings for completing a model. The extent of the sheet and the exact appearance of the scheme are shown by the illustration on the packaging; go through it before buying so that you know which elements you will have to add from another source.
The Avro Lancaster was a British four-engine heavy bomber with Rolls-Royce Merlin V12 engines, a twin vertical tail surface and a long undivided bomb bay. Besides national insignia and the code letters of the unit, the outer surface of the machines also carried numerous technical stencils. Paintings and names on the fuselage, such as Lonesome Lola, were period decoration applied right at the units to a particular aircraft.
With sheets that have lain in storage for a longer time it pays to check the condition of the carrier film. An older decal can be brittle and fall apart into pieces while being soaked. As a precaution, spray it with a thin layer of clear varnish in an aerosol intended for decals, or with gloss acrylic clear, let it dry for a day and only then cut and soak it. The clear coat unifies the film and holds the artwork together. Count on the fact that a decal treated this way will have somewhat more film around its edge, so trim it as close as possible.
The package contains decals only. The kit, paints and glue are not part of it.
