A turned metal pitot for the BAE Systems Hawk 100 series in 1:32 scale from MASTER. It is an accurate replacement part, not an aircraft kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a turned metal detail part from the Polish manufacturer MASTER that replaces the plastic pitot tube on a model of the BAE Systems Hawk 100 series trainer and light combat aircraft in 1:32 scale. It is not a model of the aircraft and not a kit — it is a more accurate replacement for one particular part, the one that in plastic tends to be the most fragile and the least faithful.
The Hawk 100 is the updated line of the British Hawk jet trainer and light combat aircraft, with advanced avionics and extended options for carrying armament. The pitot tube on the nose senses dynamic pressure for measuring airspeed.
Cut off the matching plastic stub on the model and clean it up. Seat the metal part in a pre-drilled hole and fix it with cyanoacrylate. Metal holds paint better once a primer has been applied. Leave the fitting until the end of the build so the fine tip is not damaged.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
