The Bf 109E-1 3D printed color interior 1:32 (Quinta Studio) is a set of raised decals on carrier paper, which brings realistic instrument detail into the cockpit without photo-etched parts and painting.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a set of color 3D printed decals for the cockpit of the Bf 109E-1 fighter in 1:32 scale from the manufacturer Quinta Studio. It is not a model of the airplane but a detail accessory for Bf 109E-1 models in this scale. The detail is printed in a thick, raised layer directly on the carrier decal paper, so that once applied it comes across as three-dimensional and faithful, not flat like a classic decal.
The Bf 109E-1 was the first production version of the legendary German fighter Emil from the end of the 1930s with the Daimler-Benz DB 601 engine. It carried an armament of machine guns and became the backbone of the fighter units at the start of the Second World War. The cockpit of the Emil is a prominent, clearly visible area for modelers.
The elements are applied by the wet route like a decal: cut the piece out of the sheet, soak it for about fifteen seconds in lukewarm water and slide it off the carrier paper into place. They have no adhesive layer of their own and hold on gloss clear — so sand the area of the kit smooth beforehand and go over it with a clear of the Future/Klear or Tamiya X-22 type; in broken-up places a drop of cyanoacrylate glue will help. Do not use a decal softener or a setting solution, as their chemistry will attack the printed resin. The set usually brings the instrument panel, the side panels, the belts and small placards.
This is an accessory, not a kit. The model of the airplane itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
