HGW fabric seat belts for the Bf 109F/G/K in 1:32 scale are a laser-cut fabric accessory with photo-etched buckles for a realistic cockpit on a model. It is not a kit but a detail set for the seat.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set from the Czech manufacturer HGW brings realistic pilot seat belts for models of the Messerschmitt Bf 109 in the F, G and K versions in 1:32 scale. This is not an airplane model but an aftermarket detail accessory that raises the credibility of a finished cockpit. The belts are laser-cut from printed microfabric and complemented by photo-etched metal buckles.
The fabric material behaves like real cloth, can be bent naturally and can be given folds. The buckles were developed in cooperation with Eduard. The belts are fully workable, so they can be set fastened or undone over the edge of the seat. The fabric stands up to common mild modeling products and takes filters and oils for bringing out the texture.
Take the cut part out of the sheet, remove the backing paper and work the belt briefly between your fingers. Thread the ends through the photo-etched buckles and tack them with cyanoacrylate glue. Set them into the seat and gently bring the folds out with heavily thinned oil paint.
The accessory is supplied unpainted, on its own without a model. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
