1:32 Bf 110C-2/C-7 is an Eduard masking set in kabuki paper for the extensive glazing of a model of the German twin-engine aircraft in 1:32 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
Pre-cut self-adhesive templates in kabuki paper intended for the glazing of a model of the Messerschmitt Bf 110 in the C-2 and C-7 versions in 1:32 scale. It is an accessory for painting, not a kit or a set of model parts. The set covers the outer side of the transparent surfaces; a separate variant offers the double-sided form for masking from within as well.
The Bf 110 has a long greenhouse canopy made up of many narrow frames, and in 1:32 scale each of them is clearly visible. Masking an area like that by hand with tape takes hours, and even then it is hard to keep the frames the same width. Pre-cut templates respect the shape, sit down even on the curved parts of the canopy, and the edge of the paint comes out sharp.
The Bf 110C was a twin-engine heavy fighter with a crew of two, powered by Daimler-Benz inverted V12 engines. The C-7 version was adapted, compared with the C-2, to carry bombs, which called for strengthened landing gear. Both types shared the characteristic glazed canopy running from the pilot back to the gunner.
Lift the templates with tweezers and press them home with a toothpick, especially where the paper passes over a curved surface. Degrease the glazing before painting. Spray the interior shade of the frames first, then the base and the camouflage. Take the masks off shortly after the paint has dried, pulling them away at a shallow angle.
This is an accessory for building a model. Paints and the kit itself are not included in the package.
