A set of fabric seat belts, 1:32 Corsair Mk.II, with photo-etched fittings for a faithful cockpit of a Fleet Air Arm fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of seat belts of fabric with photo-etched brass fittings for a faithful rendering of the cockpit of the Corsair Mk.II fighter in 1:32 scale. It is not an airplane model but an accessory — supple fabric seat belts read more realistically in the cockpit than plastic castings.
Corsair Mk.II was the British designation of the Vought Corsair carrier fighter, the F4U type, delivered to the Fleet Air Arm during the Second World War. Its distinctive cranked gull wing and its powerful radial engine made it one of the most successful carrier fighters of its time.
Cut the belts out, pull them through the photo-etched buckles and fix them with a small amount of cyanoacrylate glue. The fabric is shaped over an edge, so the belts blend faithfully with the seat. Painting is as a rule not necessary.
This is a detail accessory, not a model on its own. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
