Responsibility details are not available.
Dark wood is a rewarding element on a model: it contrasts with the skin and with the metal parts and tells you at once where the structure ends and the furnishings begin. Imitating it with a brush so that the growth rings are fine and never repeat is, however, a long job. A printed sheet brings a finished pattern that only has to be moved onto the surface.
This is a sheet with a continuous wood grain in a dark form. The shade suits places where the real subject had a darker material or a more strongly tinted varnish: propellers, frames and strips, floors and side walls of a cockpit, or wooden parts of the furnishings. It is intended for the large 1:32 scale, in which the structure of the surface is clearly visible. The sheet does not carry shapes for a particular type; you cut the parts out of it as needed or according to a template traced from a part of the kit. The manufacturer gives the size of the sheet, and the code HGW532009 identifies the item.
Prepare the area under the decal smooth and glossy; on matte paint the edges will show. Soak the cut-out part in lukewarm water, slide it off the paper onto the model and align the position with a brush. Blot the water with a soft cloth and let it dry without touching it; while the decal is damp it shifts or tears easily. On rounded areas a decal softener helps. At the end varnish evens the whole out, hides the edges and protects the pattern during further work.
The sheet itself is supplied. The kit, paints and varnish are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
