It is not a kit of the aircraft, but a combined pack of accessories. The Big Ed line from the Czech maker Eduard brings several separately sold sets for one type together in a single box. On large machines such as the twin-engine Invader in 1:32 scale the complete set is split into parts — this item is the second part. The first part is a separate item. Before ordering, please check against the illustration of the product and the manufacturer's data what this package contains in particular and whether you also need the first part.
The Douglas A-26 Invader was an American twin-engine attack and bomber aircraft from the end of the Second World War, powered by a pair of radial engines. Against the older types it offered higher speed, a decent range and a fairly small crew. The A-26C version differed from the variant with the solid gun nose in having a glazed nose for the navigator and bombardier, which suited it to accurate release from level flight. The aircraft served long after the war and in later years appeared under the redesignation B-26.
Etched parts are glued with cyanoacrylate or two-part epoxy, not with cement for plastic. Make the folds on a bending tool or at least between two razor blades, so that the edge is sharp and does not ripple. Do not spray over the painted parts. Before you start gluing, sand the original molded detail that the etch is to replace off the plastic — otherwise the set will not seat. Fit the interior parts before you close the fuselage up, and keep trying dry as you go.
