Masking templates in 1:32 scale, cut for the two-seat form of the EF 2000. The shapes are prepared in advance, so there is no measuring out and cutting of tape on the model itself.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of masking templates prepared for the two-seat version of the EF 2000 in 1:32 scale. The shapes are cut to suit this type, so there is no measuring out and no cutting of tape on the model itself. Which surfaces the set covers and in what order they are applied is listed in the manufacturer's instructions.
The EF 2000 is a European multirole supersonic aircraft with a delta wing and with foreplanes set ahead of the cockpit. The letter B denotes the two-seat form with two seats one behind the other, used above all for training. In 1:32 scale the model comes out large, and every inaccurate edge of a sprayed finish shows on it at first glance.
The templates are applied to a clean, degreased and perfectly dry surface, always before spraying. The edges are pressed down with a blunt toothpick, so that paint cannot run under an edge. Spray at right angles to the surface and in thin coats; a heavy coat laid on all at once will run under and leave a noticeable step once the mask is removed. Take the mask off shortly after the paint has dried, while the coat is not yet hard, and do so by pulling across the edge, not straight upwards.
For a modeler who is building the EF 2000B in 1:32 scale and wants a crisp transition between the paint and the unmasked surface without lengthy preparation by hand.
The package contains masking templates only. The kit, paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
