1:32 Eurofighter TYPHOON BASIC kabuki masks

New Ware Eurofighter Typhoon BASIC 1:32 painting masks

A basic set of accurate self-adhesive masks of thin washi (kabuki) tape from New Ware. It lets you mask the canopy glazing and the main clear parts of a large-scale model quickly and cleanly before spraying. The tape follows the shape of the glazing exactly, holds on the engraved edges and leaves no adhesive residue once lifted. The BASIC level is aimed at the basic masking of the canopy.

The real subject

The Eurofighter Typhoon is a modern European multirole fighter with its distinctive layout of a delta wing and canard foreplanes. It came about through the cooperation of several European countries and serves with a number of air forces as a supersonic multirole fighter.

Use

• Clean and degrease the glazing, move the mask with tweezers and press it down all round.
• In the large 1:32 scale sharp frames really show, so work the tape carefully down to the edges.
• Spray in thin coats and lift the mask off shortly after the paint has dried.
• Ideal for clean, sharp frames on a large canopy.

Who the set is for

For builders of large models who want a large canopy masked reliably without cutting tape by hand, and for whom the basic extent of the BASIC level is enough.

These are painting masks, not a model. The paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
